Christopher D. Heagerty
Christopher D. Heagerty graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1988 with an undergraduate degree in history and he received his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1994. Following a clerkship with the firm during law school he was engaged in private practive in Knoxville from 1994 until 2004. In 2005 he returned to Hodges, Doughty & Carson to continue his practice. His practice is devoted primarily to arson and insurance fraud, property insurance, construction law and business litigation. He has completed the Tennessee Advisory Committee on Arson course on arson and fire investigation and he participated in the Convention of International Association of Special Investigation Units in 1998. He serves as a member of the Knox County Election Commission. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association Leadership Law Program, Class of 2006.
