T. Kenan Smith
T. Kenan Smith is the Managing Partner of Hodges, Doughty & Carson. Mr. Smith received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee, graduating with high honors. Commissioned as an officer, he served for three years with the United States Army. He received his law degree from the University of Tennessee and was admitted to the Bar in 1987. Except for a four-month interruption for military service in the Persian Gulf, he has practiced with the firm since completing law school. His practice is devoted to insurance defense including motor vehicle and general liability matters. His practice also includes general litigation involving commercial and domestic matters. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the International Association of Defense Counsel.
