Bankruptcy/Creditors' Rights

Our bankruptcy attorneys represent trustees, committees, and creditors in a variety of contested matters and adversary proceedings in Chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13, including preference and fraudulent transfer litigation, plan confirmation issues, asset sales, and automatic stay/adequate protection litigation. Two of our attorneys have extensive experience as Chapter 7 and 11 trustees. We handle numerous judicial and non-judicial foreclosure actions for our many financial institution clients, and we handle various defensive litigation relating to matters as diverse as wrongful foreclosure, lender liability, and statutory claims. We frequently assist clients in workout arrangements and have acted as debtor's counsel, where no conflicts exist, in a variety of cases under Chapter 7, 11, and 13, including some of the largest Chapter 11 cases in our district.
