Hodges, Doughty & Carson, PLLC provides legal representation for special needs and special education children and adults, working on behalf of children and adults with disabilities and their families. We advocate on behalf of children and adults with disabilities in a variety of forums. We also challenge public school suspension or expulsion of disabled children and represent children in pending juvenile justice matters. We can represent disabled children at Individual Education Program (IEP) meetings and appeal processes and pursue the rights of children under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

We deal with issues related to persons with attention deficit disorder (A.D.D.), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, (A.D.H.D.), autism, Asperger's syndrome, Down syndrome and other intellectually disabling limitations such as hearing impairment, deafness, visual impairment and diabetes.

Hodges, Doughty & Carson, PLLC also represents parents of special needs children contemplating divorce or in custody disputes.
