Hodges, Doughty & Carson, PLLC was among the nation’s most elite law firms recognized recently in the LexisNexis Martindale Hubbell 2013 U.S. Top Ranked Law Firms list which was published in the December 24, 2012, issue of Fortune magazine. Complied by Lexis Nexis Martindale-Hubbell, the list includes 2,421 U.S. law firms. To be included a firm must have a minimum of 10 attorneys and at least 33% of its attorneys must have achieved an AV Preeminent rating. More than 254,000 law firms were considered in the selection process, but less than one-half of one percent of firms across the nation were included among the top ranked firms.
An attorney’s AV Preeminent rating indicates the highest level of ethical standards and legal ability, as determined by the attorney’s peers of the bar and judiciary, in a confidential poll. The legal community members who provide the ratings have experience working with the attorney under review.
