About
Breana received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Psychology from Florida State University in 2019. In 2023, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law with a concentration in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. While in law school, Breana was recognized on the Dean’s List and received CALI Excellence Awards for the highest grade in contract drafting and Advocacy Clinic. During her final year in law school, Breana served as a student attorney in the University of Tennessee Advocacy Clinic, where she represented clients in a variety of matters. She also served as Symposium Co-editor for the Tennessee Journal of Race, Gender, and Social Justice, and received a Pro Bono Service Award for completing over 250 hours of pro bono work.
Following law school, Breana served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Jill Bartee Ayers of the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals. In this role, she gained invaluable experience analyzing both substantive and procedural law, as well as unique insight into the judicial decision-making process. Breana joined Hodges, Doughty & Carson as an associate attorney in August 2025. She is admitted to practice law in Tennessee and is an active member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Knoxville Bar Association, and the East Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women.
Outside of the office, Breana enjoys spending her free time with her boyfriend and their two cats, reading, crafting, and exploring local antique shops and thrift stores.
